Prerequisites:
RGH/BadUpdate Console
Proto Stealth Server*
wxPirs

1. Download the dashboard you want.
Ensure it is in .pirs format, you can
get them here.

2. Open wxPirs.exe and hit the 'Open'
icon, or click File > Open

3. Select the .pirs file you downloaded
in the file explorer menu and click open.

4. Once you click open, you should see
a lot of files. Find '$flash_dash.xex' or
'dash.xex', right click it and select
'Extract File'

5. If the file was named '$flash_dash.xex'
you MUST rename it to 'dash.xex' (remove the '$flash_') or else it will either not run, or corrupt downloaded kinect/avatar data on your console.
If it wasn't named '$flash_dash.xex' ignore this step.

6. Transfer this file to your Xbox 360's hard drive, I recommend organising it in folders like 'HDD1:\Dashboards\13064\dash.xex'

7. Finally, launch the dash.xex file on your console and you should be in the older metro dash, or whatever dashboard you downloaded.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Q: The file won't launch or I get an xbox error.
A: Ensure proto is enabled and configured

Q: I get an error about my files being corrupt / It corrupted my kinect/avatar data
A: You didn't rename it to 'dash.xex'

Q: In the metro dash, there are no xbox live features even though I have proto and am connected to the internet
A: Unfortunately, this will happen as they are stock updates and haven't been internally patched to work.

Q: My dashboard frequently crashes / some parts of the dashboard cause it to crash
A: Known issue, not sure how to fix it and it will most likely require internal patching
